About Overtures
Experience award-winning, emerging artists at Overtures: S&R Foundation Artist Concert Series! Overtures kicked off at The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts with the Overtures Spring Series in spring 2012.
Overtures attendees enjoy intimate music performances by talented rising stars throughout the year. The S&R Foundation hosts the Spring Concert Series, the Summer Concert Series, and the Holiday Concert Series. Past concerts have featured a variety of performers from around the world, such as Soprano Maki Mori from Japan, D.C.-native Cellist Char Prescott, and Pianist Ryo Yanagitani from Canada.
