Char Prescott has performed all over the United States and Canada, including several solo performances at the John F. Kennedy Center, with the Northwestern University Symphony Orchestra, the Reston Chamber Symphony, the Barry Studio Orchestra, and the West Potomac Sinfonietta.

Formed by Machiko Ozawa, The Urban Tango Trio has dazzled audiences in New York, DC, South Carolina, Virginia, and Japan. The trio, made up of Latin-Grammy winner Machiko Ozawa on violin, Octavio Brunetti on piano, and composer/arranger Pedro Giraudo on bass, released their first album in 2011.

Composer Percussionist

Andy Akiho and the Mivos Quartet team up in an exquisite and vibrant collaboration at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts. As a percussionist, Andy Akiho has performed with numerous ensembles such as the South Carolina Philharmonic Orchestra. The Mivos Quartet is devoted to performing the works of contemporary composers, presenting new music to diverse audiences.

Classic Guitar

Soichi Muraji made his North American debut performing at The Kennedy Center in 2006; that same year, he was chosen to play in New York City’s commemoration of 9/11. His sixth solo CD, “Reverie,” was released in 2008 on the JVC label in Japan.

Violin

The youngest artist ever to take 1st Prize at the Paganini Competition, Sayaka Shoji performs with the world’s leading conductors and alongside world-class orchestras including the St. Petersburg Philharmonic Orchestra. Her debut CD with Deutsche Grammophon featured Zubin Mehta and the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra.
