2013 Spring Concert Series

Violist Ori Kam has performed extensively throughout the US, Europe, and Israel. Ms. Kawakubo has performed numerous recitals in Japan, Spain, Germany, and Israel. Both S&R Foundation Washington Award winners, the duo is excited to appear together at Evermay as part of the Overtures Spring Concert Series!

As one of the most noted young pianists in the world, Yu Kosuge has worked with leading European orchestras including the NDR Symphony Orchestra Hamburg and Orchestre Philharmonique de Radio France. She has released nine CDs and records exclusively on the SONY label. 

Don’t miss this exhilarating performance by jazz pianist Keiko Matsui at the newly restored Bethesda Blues and Jazz Supper Club! Keiko's music transcends boundaries and her unique musical influences have garnered her a devout international following. You can enjoy a night out and support emerging artists at this fund-raising event.

Due to a recent medical issue, Kaori Muraji will be unable to perform with Soichi Muraji. In Kaori's absence, we welcome violinist Tamaki Kawakubo. Soichi is one of the most prominent classical guitarists of today, and Tamaki is a Washington Award winner.

Put together by S&R Foundation Washington Award Winner Tamaki Kawakubo, this first Overtures Chamber Music Project group will feature an amazing group of young artists, each one of soloist quality.
